i started making this out of disjointed acoustic recordings from the past year. 'schmuck' is a bit of a tribute [in style] to some of my rock influences that i don't frequently call upon when writing music. this might be my first release ever with next to no dubstep production on it and i went for a more 'traditional' arrangement for the songs, too.

the vocals for track 2 / bloom are from Asmarethica's . i thought really highly of her album and wanted to work with her voice, and she graciously let me sample her song!

i call it a "compact album" or "macro EP" because of the length; not quite an LP, but definitely not an EP.
