Ryette - S.S.D.D.…
…is my first ever brostep EP! i've certainly dabbled in the genre before, but never all the way through a collection like this. i'd made track 4 for the 'SMLWiki OST album', which kickstarted my motivation to revisit this genre. tracks 1 & 3 were older ideas—from 2021 & 2023 respectively—that i extended and polished for this release.
track 2 was the only track i made specifically for the EP, being brand new; i made use of some old patches but most of the sounds were created/recreated from the ground up this very week. it's like the accumulation of all of my production knowledge thus far. it ends up being my favorite of the four, even though i originally started it just to round off this EP. |
